Events include:

  • A presentation by Rovio highlighting The Angry Birds Movie 2, which debuts in theaters September 2019

  • A haute couture runway event featuring Angry Birds-inspired designs from Filippo Laterza

  • An Angry Birds cake party

“I was honored to take on this important challenge. Interpreting mobile game and movie characters through an elegant and Haute Couture cut is a way for me to contribute to the increasingly young vision of high fashion. In fact, I see it as a new form of art–an evolution of pop art, perhaps. Angry Birds is strong and creative and communicates this powerfully, which is, for me, a true source of inspiration,” says Filippo.

Milano Licensing Day kicks off at the Hotel Nhow in Milan Sept. 13.

“Milano Licensing Day is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for visitors to get the first view of one of the movie events of 2019–and to find out more about the latest additions to our high-performing portfolio of brands,” says Maurizio Distefano, president and founder, Maurizio Distefano Licensing. “We’re looking forward to seeing you!”
