Anderson Entertainment, the company founded by Gerry Anderson, creator of TV hits such as “Thunderbirds,” is developing its licensing program to offer new opportunities for the brand’s 50th anniversary next year.

“Now is the perfect time to prepare to launch new products to tie in with the release of the new TV and book series launching in 2015 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the first transmission of ‘Thunderbirds,’” says Jamie Anderson, Gerry’s son and managing director, Anderson Entertainment. “Gerry Anderson has been an iconic name in entertainment for over 50 years, and now with new projects and productions on the way we’re sure to see the U.K.’s own Walt Disney brand go from strength to strength for the next 50 years as well.”

Licenses are now also available for classic Gerry Anderson productions and new projects currently in the pipeline, including “Terrahawks,” the 1980s cult "supermacromation" production; the Lost Worlds of Gerry Anderson collection of projects spanning multiple decades; and “Gemini Force One,” a new sci-fi action adventure book series to be published by Orion in 2015.
