AG Properties, the licensing division of American Greetings, has signed several licensing deals to further expand its Strawberry Shortcake property across health and beauty products.
Added Extras, Blue Cross Laboratories and Cosrich will extend their lines of products, while new licensee Feeling Smitten has signed on as a first-time partner. The line up of products will include a wide selection of Strawberry Shortcake branded bath, body, beauty and health aid products.
“Growing our domestic health and beauty aid program for Strawberry Shortcake continues to be a priority and this expansion is a big success,” says Lindsay Martinez, vice president of domestic licensing, AG Properties. “The combination of existing and new partnerships will allow us to expand our retail distribution this year and provide fans the chance to experience Strawberry Shortcake and her friends in a variety of ways.”
The two-year deal will find Added Extras and Blue Cross expanding their current lines, with Added Extras offerings girl’s hair accessories and Blue Cross offering tissues. The licensees already have bubble bath, body wash, hand soap and shampoo already placed at retail. Cosrich will develop a new line of children’s Strawberry Shortcake-themed personal care products, while Feeling Smitten will create a line of Strawberry Shortcake cupcake bath accessories for fall.
