‘Rocky Horror Show’ Licensing Program Builds in Advance of 50th Anniversary
New licensees include Dress up, Smiffy’s and Dark Horse comics.

The licensing program for “The Rocky Horror Show,” represented by Golden Goose, is gathering momentum with new licensees and new international agency representatives signed up in advance of the musical’s 50th anniversary.
New licensees include dress up (Smiffy’s) and illustrated comic books (Dark Horse) and categories in development include apparel, figurines, pinball and slot machines.
“Given the strength of the characters and the obvious love for the musical from generations of fans, it’s now time for Rocky Horror Show licensed products to take center stage,” says Adam Bass, director, Golden Goose.
“It’s exciting to have these phenomenal new partners on board,” says Andy Leighton, music publisher for the show. “The international fanbase is definitely hungry for products that hit the brand’s sweet spot.”
Rebeckah Dalton, Golden Goose’s product director is gearing up for a raft of approvals: “We are developing a stunning new style guide that will establish ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ as a force to be reckoned with for the 50th anniversary and many years to come.”
