Canadian TV series expands in the U.K. and Australia with publishing, apparel and more.
Boat Rocker Brands, the global marketing and merchandising arm of Boat Rocker Media, has tapped a number of licensees to expand “The Next Step” TV series globally.
Brands with Influence and Haven Licensing, the series’ licensing agents, brokered the deals.
New partners include: Caprice for athleisure and accessories in Australia, which will launch at local retailer Big W in March 2017; Igloo Books for activity books in the U.K.; Danilo for calendars in the U.K.; TVM Fashion Lab for apparel in Sainsbury’s; and Signature Publishing for a second issue of Girls Love The Next Step magazine, which will be published this month in the U.K.
“As ‘The Next Step’ fan base continues to grow, we are delighted to expand the licensed merchandise offerings, particularly when the offerings developed in partnership with our agents at BWI continue to capture the essence of the brand so perfectly,” says Terri DiPaolo, president, Boat Rocker Brands.
The new merchandise has already begun rolling out throughout the U.K. for the holidays.
