After a fourth season sale to PBS Kids, DHX Media has signed a range of new licensing deals in the U.S. and Canada for its preschool series, “Caillou.”
Licensee Percy3D, a video platform that lets users create their own personalized videos, is launching the brand into immersive technology with a new three-year deal for Caillou digital party invitations. DHX has also renewed its agreement with Buy Seasons for Caillou party goods, which can be matched to the Licensee Percy3D invitations for a complete party theme.
DHX has signed ID Toys as the brand’s U.S. and multi-territory master toy licensee.
ID Toys has created a full toy line of plush, figured dolls, plastic vehicles, play sets, Jack in the Box, puzzles, arts and craft activities, molded cases and stickers, now available at Toys ‘R’ Us in the U.S. and Canada.
Additionally, Komar Kids has signed on for sleepwear and Karmin International has been appointed U.S. licensee for Caillou puzzle products, which will include Color-a-Puzzle, a four-in-one puzzle and two-sided bilingual floor puzzles.
In Canada growth continues with the addition Centura Brands as licensee for shampoo, bubble bath, soaps, body wash, lip balms and poufs; Garel Sales Agencies for Caillou-branded storage containers; and Daytime Enterprises for Caillou meet-and-greet costumes.
