Performance Brands has signed licensing deals for Tonino Lamborghini for perfume, energy drinks and tools and is taking the brand to Dubai.
The perfume deal is with Coty Parfums of Paris, the largest fragrance company in the world, while the drinks deal is with the Danish company Cult Energy Drink. The energy drink was trialed and tested in bars and nightclubs throughout the U.K.
Performance Brands also has agreed to a five-year deal for Tonino Lamborghini with Silverline Tools for power tools. Products range from electric saws and drills to screwdrivers.
The latest deals follow the opening of the Tonino Lamborghini Elettra Residence Sports City in Dubai.
Meanwhile, Performance Brands has opened an associate office in Dubai because it says it has identified potential for children's character, fashion, sport and lifestyle brands to grow in the Middle East.
Performance Brands clients have Nintendo, Numberjacks, Bratz, GoochiCoo, Ladybird, Fat Face, Dr Martens, Punkyfish, Kangol, No Fear, Golddigga, Chilli Pepper, Tonino Lamborghini, Extreme, Lillywhites, Gola and Admiral.
"We are keenly anticipating taking a wide selection of brands into the Middle East and Africa regions, and we feel that many of our brands have the commercial strength to extend their reach into these new emerging territories," says Mike Clark, international licensing director.
