The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation has teamed up with Shinola Detroit for a collection of limited-edition watches that celebrate The Statue of Liberty and the immigrant experience.

The two-piece collection is part of the company’s Great American Series and will be supported by a large-scale ad campaign celebrating the contributions of immigrants in the U.S. To celebrate the occasion and America’s diverse immigrant story, Shinola brought more than 100 new American citizens to the Moynihan Courthouse in New York City after a naturalization ceremony, where it gifted each individual with its flagship watch, the Runwell, packaged in a case with the words, "From this second forward, you are as American as the rest of us."
