Nelvana has appointed three industry veterans–Peter Crighton, Kelly Elwood and Tonya Lindo–to help strengthen its senior management team with marketing, licensing and retail.

Nelvana has appointed three industry veterans–Peter Crighton, Kelly Elwood and Tonya Lindo–to help strengthen its senior management team with marketing, licensing and retail.

First, Crighton has been appointed to the position of director of marketing. In his new role, he will manage consumer and trade marketing for the company.

Previously, Crighton was manager of franchise marketing for Disney Consumer Products. Before that, he was senior manager of retail marketing for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.

Next, Elwood has taken on the position of director of retail. In her new role, Elwood will lead all retail executions for Nelvana in North America.

Prior to joining Nelvana, Elwood worked as a licensing consultant and was previously the senior vice president of marketing and licensing at DHX Media. She was also the senior vice president of marketing and licensing for the Cookie Jar Group of companies.

Finally, Lindo has taken on the role of director of licensing for North America. In her role, she will be responsible for all of the company’s licensing activity in the U.S. and Canada.

Before, she was senior manager of consumer products at Mattel Canada and was working as a licensing consultant.
