Transport for London and Adidas Originals have released a new line of collaborative footwear that celebrates London’s transit system.

TSBA, the Transport for London's brand licensing partner, brokered the deal.

Set to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the iconic Oyster card, Adidas and TfL are releasing three limited-edition shoes from the “Oyster Club” pack–consisting of co-branded Temper Run, Continental 80 and ZX 500RM silhouettes.

Each pair of shoes comes with a leather Oyster Card holder and custom packaging, inspired by vintage underground posters. “London is a city bubbling with creativity from a population constantly moving forwards,” says Gavin Thomson, senior vice president, Region West Europe, Adidas.

“TfL and the Underground network make that possible. This partnership allows Adidas to celebrate the world’s most famous transport system and London through our designs. True to Adidas’ Originals principles, the collaboration takes its inspiration from the past, present and future to celebrate the heritage and unity of London’s creators. United by TFL. Told by Originals.”

Each of the 15,000 pairs will include an Oyster Card with £80 credit.
