GLOBAL–Licensee and manufacturer KIDdesigns is continuing make its mark on the marketplace with a robust portfolio of youth electronics licenses and more.

KIDdesigns was founded in 1989 to market youth electronics and electronic toys and in 1990 secured its first license agreements with Hasbro and Sesame Workshop. Today, the company’s portfolio includes licenses for Minnie Mouse, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, Cars 3, The Avengers, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Despicable Me, Trolls, Transformers, My Little Pony, “Paw Patrol,” “Power Rangers,” Hello Kitty and Jojo Siwa, among many others.

Most recently, KIDdesigns’ Disney Imagicademy and Lucasfilm Millennium Falcon Bluetooth Speaker were featured among Toy Insider’s Top 20 holiday toys for 2015. In 2014, the company’s Frozen-themed boom box was named the No. 1 selling electronic toy by The NPD Group.

The licensee also boasts a strong distribution network with retailers like Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Best Buy, Sports Authority, Bed Bath & Beyond, Barnes & Noble and Hudson News, among many others.

Meanwhile, the licensee’s affiliate, SDI Technologies, has been operating for almost 60 years under its own brands–iHome, Soundesign and Realtone–as well as under license from Apple, Timex and Zenith, among others.

In the coming months, retailers and consumers should keep their eyes out on the top holiday toys lists, as KIDdesigns is sure to have a host of electronic toys available for children.
