Jacuzzi Brands Corp.’s subsidiary Jacuzzi Inc. granted an exclusive license to Quebec-based Competition Pool Accessories Inc. to manufacture and market swimming pool accessory products under its famous Jacuzzi trademark. This is the second licensing agreement to be announced in the past three months by Jacuzzi, which is aggressively expanding the reach of its brand.
Competition Pool Accessories plans on marketing Jacuzzi-branded pool equipment products, such as pumps, automatic cleaners, and filters, as a new, high-end offering. These will replace products sold under the J-Series logo (formerly produced by Cantar Pool Products). Competition will continue to support legacy Jacuzzi-branded pool parts and accessories already in the marketplace.COR
