Henna Riaz has bought out her co-partners, Tommy Schweiger and equity finance firm Dow Schofield Watts, to take full ownership of international royalty auditing business 360 Audit.

Riaz was named Businesswoman of the Year at the British Muslim Awards 2015 and has more than 10 years of experience working with entertainment brands. Prior to launching 360 Audit, she was a media lawyer at DLA Piper and Hill Dickinson and has previous roles with Mercury Records and Universal Studios in Los Angeles, Calif.

She launched 360 Audit in 2010 after recognizing a gap in the market for a business that combines legal and financial auditing services in the realm of licensing.

The company currently has a client base of household names including Nickelodeon, CNN Turner, Jamie Oliver, Liverpool Football Club and more.

“For our clients, nothing will change,” says Riaz. “The same people will be giving the same excellent service levels. I will continue to lead the business and the aim now is to forge ahead with our ambitious growth plans, consolidating relationships outside of the U.K. and setting up an L.A. office later in the year. We’ve made huge strides internationally and currently around 60 percent of our audits take place overseas.”

Following the deal, Riaz brought on Philia Riaz as global head of audit. Philia joins 360 Audit after senior auditing roles at PwC, Arup and Grant Thornton.
