UK car manual publisher Haynes is slipping into a new gear with British denim brand Lee Cooper to create a workwear range. This is the latest stage of a brand extension program for Haynes, which has been publishing its repair manuals since the 1960s.
Lee Cooper—the original British denim company, and Europe’s oldest, founded by Morris Cooper in 1908—has worked the Haynes signature style into a collection of clothing and workwear including jeans, jackets, dungarees, and T-shirts. The hand-drawn car cutaway artwork featured in Haynes Manuals is used prominently on the apparel as are the Haynes and Lee Cooper branding.
