GMA Group Acquires Ellen Tracy and Caribbean Joe

GMA acquired the brands from Brand Matter, a subsidiary of Sequential Brands Group.

GMA Group has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Ellen Tracy and Caribbean Joe Island Supply Co. from Brand Matter, a subsidiary of Sequential Brands Group.

Ellen Tracy was established in 1949. It is a full lifestyle women’s fashion brand.

"Ellen Tracy is well known in the women’s fashion industry and is an excellent addition to our portfolio,” says George Altirs, president and chief executive officer, GMA Group. “We look forward to working with our partners to expand the distribution globally.”

Caribbean Joe Island Supply Co. product lines include sportswear, swimwear, casual footwear, sleepwear, socks, accessories and fragrance.

"Since its relaunch in 2019, we’ve had our eye on Caribbean Joe," says Altirs. "Caribbean Joe now offers an extended list of product categories and we will work with our partners to expand the offerings and distribution in the coming years."
