Former senior director, digital monetization, Yannick Ferrero has been promoted to group director of commercial operations. His new role will expand to incorporate the gaming and brand licensing divisions as well as his existing digital remit. Ferrero will spearhead the group’s commercial revenues across each category, further aligning gaming, gambling, brand licensing and digital specialties.

Jane Smith, former director of brand licensing and strategy, has been promoted to group director of brand licensing and gaming. Smith will manage both divisions and will be tasked with ramping up the Group’s financial performances of the brands across each area. Smith will report to Ferrero.

Together, Smith and Ferrero will leverage their experience in the gaming and gambling divisions to spearhead Endemol Shine's commercial expansion and operations. Both will work closely with Mark Woollard, commercial director, Endemol Shine Group.

“Yannick and Jane have done an exceptional job growing our digital and brand licensing operations,” says Wim Ponnet, chief commercial and strategy officer, Endemol Shine Group.

“Endemol Shine Gaming is in great shape, with exciting growth opportunities, and Yannick and Jane are perfectly placed to build on this success and maximize the commercial potential of our IP.”

Owain Walbyoff, managing director, Endemol Shine Gaming, will leave the company to lead the London office of a neurotechnology startup.
