Ben & Jerry’s has launched a new ice cream flavor in collaboration with musical artist Big Freedia.

The partnership follows a recent Instagram post featuring a mock Ben & Jerry’s pint of the original recipe Bouncing Beignets ice cream, which is inspired by Freedia’s hometown of New Orleans, LA. To celebrate the new flavor, the musical artist partnered with the ice cream brand for an unveiling at Republic, one of Freedia’s favorite NOLA hotspots.

“This is so exciting for me!” says Freedia. “Food is my second love (after music), and to create an ice cream flavor of my own was so much fun.”

The Bouncing Beignets flavor is vanilla ice cream with a bourbon caramel swirl. It follows the debut of another musically-inspired ice cream from rapper Tyler, the Creator.
