Curating Cambridge and lululemon have entered an agreement for a co-branded activewear collection in the U.K. featuring Cambridge University trademarks. The collection launched in Lululemon’s Cambridge store on Oct. 1 and features three print designs.
The designs include the University’s iconic Red Lion, synonymous with sport at Cambridge, the University’s shield logo and a bold Cambridge text print. The launch assortment includes both men’s and women’s styles, including lululemon’s popular Scuba Oversized Half-Zip Hoodie, Align High-Rise Pant and Define Jacket.
Free run club and yoga sessions led by brand ambassadors accompanied the launch to support community engagement, which is central to lululemon’s ethos. Cambridge Sport, the University’s sports department, has actively supported the collaboration, reinforcing key messaging around sport’s physical and mental well-being benefits.
“We’ve seen an enthusiastic and overwhelmingly positive reaction to the co-branded collection,” says Len Dunne, chief executive officer, Curating Cambridge. “Students have immediately embraced the concept, and tourists will no doubt too.”
