Hair accessories brand, BANDED, has unveiled a line of licensed Ohio State University products. The licensing agency, Beanstalk, facilitated the collaboration.
The collection combines Ohio State’s Buckeyes spirit with BANDED’s sustainably made hair accessories. Every piece purchased from the collection supports Ohio State students through scholarships and other programs. This is in addition to BANDED’s program supporting Food for the Poor, where for every item purchased, BANDED donates three meals to children in need, primarily in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“We’re thrilled to partner with The Ohio State University to create a collection of unique hair accessories that celebrate the Buckeyes community," says Lisa Powers Struble, owner, BANDED. “It was so much fun to incorporate beloved icons like Brutus Buckeye and the Block O, while adding innovative elements such as a helmet stripe claw clip made from eco-friendly materials and headbands printed with reflective ink. With our 1=3 initiative and the university’s Buy Buckeye program, we’re excited these products will make a positive impact on both the student community and children in need.”
The collection available now features claw clips, rhinestone pins, athletic headbands and more.
