Creative Licensing Corporation has been appointed to represent the licensing program for the 2011 hit film, Drive.
The award-winning movie, which stared Ryan Gosling, told the story of a Hollywood stuntman who takes on a job as a getaway driver.
The stylistic film and its lead character have developed a strong base of fans looking to emulate the style of the Driver, namely his scorpion jacket and leather gloves. As such, apparel and accessories will be one of the first categories targeted by CLC, along with electronic games and publishing. CLC plans for product to begin hitting retail this spring.
Drive was produced by Odd Lot Films, Bold Films and Marc Platt Productions and distributed in the U.S. by Film District.
