Live show will head to London after successful performances in North America and Australia.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products U.K. has tapped Life Like Touring to bring Scooby-Doo to London in an all-new live show.

“Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries” will follow Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang after they have been asked to help solve a new mystery. The show will also mark the character’s theatrical debut in London’s West End and comes after tours in North America and Australia.

The new stage show will run at London Palladium, Aug. 18-21.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Life Like Touring to bring ‘Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries’ to London this summer,” says Preston Kevin Lewis, general manager, WBCP U.K. and Ireland. “As the home of musical variety and arguably the most famous theater in London, the Palladium is a fitting match for Scooby-Doo’s heritage, broad appeal and ability to entertain across generations.”

WBCP is also continuing to evolve the franchise in line with consumer trends and support the brand across TV, home video, online, gaming and will also be bolstered by a big screen movie, which has been confirmed for 2018.

Additionally, the consumer products program for the franchise continues to grow in the U.K., according to WBCP. LEGO released its first Scooby-Doo toy range last year and Parragon will launch a variety of book formats and gift products for the property. Meanwhile, master toy partner Character Options is developing new lines with an exclusive range in ASDA this fall/winter and a refreshed range for 2017.
