Hot Topic’s plus-size retailer will also feature the classic character in a pop-up shopping event.
The 11-piece collection, designed exclusively for women sizes 10 to 30, will feature Hello Kitty prints, hardware and accents and will include sweaters, tops, dresses, skirts, cardigans and more.
“The debut Hello Kitty Torrid collection blends iconic Hello Kitty graphics with modern fashion styles that will be a hit with Hello Kitty fans and Torrid customers,” says Jill Koch, senior vice president, brand management and marketing, Sanrio.
Additionally, Sanrio and Torrid will host a one-day pop-up shopping event Friday, July 15, at Torrid’s Irvine Spectrum Center store in Irvine, Calif. Customers attending the event will be able to exclusively shop the collection in-store, as well as have the opportunity to meet plus-size fashion blogger Amina Mucciolo, who is featured in the collection’s campaign.
