America Greeting Properties and its territory agent Exim Licensing have renewed several agreements for Strawberry Shortcake in Latin America that will continue to expand the girls’ brand in the region.

In Brazil, Lepper will create show-themed bedding; Industria Textil Belmar is planning a Strawberry Baby bedding line; 3M do Brasil will continue its line of bandages; and long-term partner Xeryu has signed on for another back-to-school season.

A line of footwear will continue to be available in both Colombia, by licensee Calzatodo, and in Panama, where D’Port will resume production.

And for younger fans in Panama, Importadora Panama will produce a variety of infant accessories ranging from pacifiers to bottles.

“Latin America is an important component to our overall international merchandising strategy, and we have built a solid foundation with our existing partners in the territory,” says Carla Silva, vice president of global licensing, AGP. “These renewals will allow our fans to continue to interact with the products they love from our trusted partners.”
