‘SpongeBob’ Lands at Primark

New apparel and a café are now at select Primark locales in the U.K.

Retailer Primark and Paramount have expanded their partnership to celebrate 25 years of “SpongeBob SquarePants.” The retailer now has apparel ranges featuring characters SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward on matching pajamas, nightwear, sweatshirts, shorts and character socks. 

In addition, the SpongeBob Café has opened its doors  in Manchester Trafford Centre, Birmingham and Braehead. The character is the latest to takeover selected Primark cafés, popping up in store until August. 

In this latest partnership, fans can  sample the famous Mr Krab’s Secret Sandwich, alongside other menu highlights inspired by the iconic show including a Pineapple Under the Sea bubble tea, Kelp Crunch waffle and Chum Wings, straight from Plankton’s The Chum Bucket. 

“Our Partnership with Paramount continues to go from strength-to-strength,” says Sarah Jackson, director, license, Primark. “We know that our customers love our product collections from ‘PAW Patrol’ to our iconic ‘TMNT’ X Pizza Hut collaboration, so we’re thrilled to celebrate 25 years of this much-loved character with a new line of pajamas for all the family.”
