Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants has a front row seat to the World Cup in Brazil with a range of branded products available on shelves throughout the country.

The unlikely sports hero is kicking around on a range of flavored milks, desserts and drinkable yogurts from Brasil Foods, a long-time beverage partner of Nickelodeon in the market, as well as a range of Bola na Rede (Ball in the Net) cookies, wafers and muffins distributed by Pandurata.

Additional Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products licensing deals in Brazil will see SpongeBob and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles emblazoned across multiple kids’ and adult apparel lines. Brazilian DTR licensee Marisa is launching a wide range of apparel and underwear this month, aligned with the latest series of TMNT.

Meanwhile, also in the market, Riachuelo is debuting its first lines in its Lojas Riachuelo retail outlets from the SpongeBob and Turtles stable, encompassing a wide range of apparel for toddlers, teens, tweens and adults.

New stationery and gift ranges by Minas Presentes for both SpongeBob and Turtles will also roll out in time for kids in Brazil to go back to school.
