Sanrio is partnering with artist, entrepreneur and Megology brand founder Megan Bomgaars to release an inspiring capsule collection.

The Sanrio ♥ Megology collection, produced in partnership with Jerry Leigh, will include t-shirts and sweatshirts with Bomgaars’ favorite Sanrio characters (like Hello Kitty and Badtz-Maru), and will feature Megan’s creative designs and motivating mottos, such as “Don’t Limit Me” and “I Can, I Will.” Bomgaars is a self-advocate with Down syndrome.

“My partnership with Sanrio ♥ Megology is my biggest dream come true,” says Bomgaars, founder, Megology. “I've always loved Hello Kitty, and now she's my best friend! We have a lot to say with her heart and my voice! Don't limit us!”

Bomgaars stars in “Born This Way,” an Emmy-Award-winning A&E docuseries that follows the lives of young adults with Down syndrome who pursue their dreams and defy societal expectations. Season four of “Born This Way” premieres Aug. 15 on A&E.

“Megan is an inspiration to so many, and her positive messages align perfectly with Sanrio’s ‘small gift, big smile’ philosophy,” says Craig Takiguchi, chief operating officer, Sanrio.

“It has been a pleasure working with Megan to bring her dream collection to life. Through her creative designs and favorite Sanrio characters, we are able to continue spreading Megan’s messages of encouragement and motivation to fans of all ages.” The Sanrio ♥ Megology collection launches August 8 and can be found at sanrio.com, megology.com and at select Sanrio stores.
