Roi Visual's character Robocar Poli, which rose to prominence after winning the License! Global Licensing Challenge in 2010, is making the rounds with new products and appearances across the globe.

The "Robocar Poli" TV series has been picked up by Vietman's HTV 7 and Astro Ceria in Malaysia, as the second season gets ready to air on Nick Junior in Israel.

Meanwhile, the character was named as an honorary ambassador for the Korean football league, K League, to promote soccer in the region as well as stadium etiquette.

The character also recently appeared as a 13-meter lantern at the Taiwan Lantern Festival in early March in a deal brokered by regional agent Sanbyte. Also in Taiwan, Poli's live show is currently touring the country; a toy line from Pro & Pacific is a mainstay at Toys 'R' Us; and Quaker Oats is promoting its mild powder line with Poli premiums. The character is also planning a series of meet-and-greets Mirada stores in June and July and at department stores across Taipei and Taichung in July. The brand currently boasts 60 toy SKUs and more then 300 licensed products in Taiwan, with plans to expand into new categories such as apparel and stationery.

Roi Visual is also increasing Poli's presence in Russia where the "Robocar Poli" app launched in June 2014. The department store Hamleys and the theme park KidBurg have both launched shop-in-shops featuring the brand in the region.

In France, a new traffic safety series is set to launch on the brand's YouTube channel. Grund has published a range of Robocar Poli books in the region that are now on sale at retailers including Auchan, Cultura and FNAC, and chocolate eggs were featured in Auchan for Easter. The character will also be making an appearance at a number of summer events beginning with the Gulli summer camp, Kids on the Beach (Les Kids à la Plage), and then Kids Expo.

In China, Poli helped ring in the Chinese New Year on a six-part CNY television program, and Egmont China launched a traffic safety educational program featuring the character. Additionally, LG Household & Healthcare launched an oral care range featuring Poli toothpaste and toothbrushes. Chinese toy licensee Silverlkids has expanded distribution of its line to 880 stores countrywide including Kidsland and Toys 'R' Us. Indoor play park chain Yuyuto is also planning to open four Poli play parks across China this year.

In a multi-country deal, Russian licensee Gulliver is planning to launch its Poli stationery line in 11 countries including France, China, Korea and Russia. The line includes crayons, markers and other craft tools,

Roi Visual will be bringing the Robocar Poli brand to Licensing Expo June 9-11 in Las Vegas, Nev.
