The classic characters will appear on new lines of apparel.
The renewed agreement will see Poetic Brands produce a range of men and women’s apparel.
“Both Miffy and Garfield are hugely popular and our existing lines are flying off the shelves, so we are delighted to extend our involvement,” says Elliott Matthews, executive director, licensed apparel, Poetic Brands. “This will give us the opportunity to develop more best-selling lines based on these evergreen brands.”
A new animated “Garfield” series is slated to launch in 2018, and a new full-length feature film is currently in development.
