Mind Candy has revealed the winner of its annual Design a Moshling drawing competition–Pinestein, created by 9-year-old Paul Kolendo from Dorset, England.

The new moshling–part pineapple, part crazy scientist–has been illustrated by an in-house artist at Moshi HQ and will be added as an in-game Moshling character on MoshiMonsters.com.

This year’s contest saw 17,000 entries from fans around the world, up by 4,000 from last year.

The winner and runners-up will have their work showcased at The Strand Gallery in London at the end of the month.
