Outfit7 has signed six new licensing deals in territories around the world for its suite of mobile properties, Talking Tom and Friends, which will see the brand enter retail in China, Korea and Japan for the first time.

Spanning food and beverage, publishing and back-to-school, the new deals include:

  • Candy packaged in Talking Tom and Friends-branded toys from Zhongshan Greatyour Foods in China;

  • A publishing distribution deal with YeaRim-I for Talking Tom and Friends storybooks and sticker books in South Korea;

  • Branded bags and umbrellas, also in South Korea, from MJ Fashion;

  • YBM Japan will bring a variety of branded accessories to its English-language camps in Osaka, Japan, late this year. Products will include mugs, t-shirts and key chains, as well as a Talking Tom and Friends-branded play area;

  • A distribution deal with DZS Slovenia for back-to-school products, including notebooks, pens and bags, in CES this May; and

  • Bed linens and towels from Deyarco Furniture Factory Ajman in the Middle East and North Africa, also in May.
