The National Wildlife Federation has tapped Globe Pequot, the trade division of Rowman & Littlefield, to publish a new series of Ranger Rick books beginning in spring 2016.

The books will be based on the activities, stories and science information in the Ranger Rick kids' magazine including games, recipes, outdoor activities, songs, jokes and trivia. 

The partners will also look to develop merchandise, activity book derivatives, curriculum guides, bilingual editions and parental guides on outdoor activities at a later date.
