SEGA Corporation has signed a global license agreement with Nike to feature Sonic The Hedgehog in a promotion for Nike’s new soccer shoes.

The blue SEGA mascot will be part of the extended interactive content for the Nike promotional campaign.

The campaign film My Time Is Now, which debuted online May 18, includes interactive content such as interviews with key Euro 2012 soccer players and an exclusive mini-game “Sonic x Vapor.” The game features Sonic wearing the Nike Mercurial Vapor soccer shoes. Fans can access the film and other promotional features at nikefootball.com.
