Beginning March 23, parkgoers can experience the new Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop ride, featuring the bunny and his friends Benjamin and Lily.

Benjamin Bunny has hidden from his friends in Mr. McGregor’s garden, and young guests are invited to join Peter and Lily as they explore the garden and solve puzzles to try to uncover his hiding place.

The launch of Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop at Alton Towers marks the third U.K. attraction opening for the preschool TV series–a co-production between Silvergate Media, Nickelodeon and Frederick Warne & Co.–and a further expansion of the live events category for the brand in the UK.

“Our partnership with Alton Towers and BBC Studios underlines the enduring appeal that Peter Rabbit and his adventures have for families,” says Lisa Macdonald, senior vice president, consumer products and TV sales, EMEA, Silvergate Media. “The Hippity Hop Ride is an exciting and fun-packed way for young fans to engage with this beloved character.”

“It’s been a real delight to develop the Hippity Hop Ride with the team at Merlin Entertainments and BBC Studios,” says Thomas Merrington, creative director, Penguin Ventures on behalf of Frederick Warne & Co. “It really captures the adventurous spirit of the TV show brilliantly, and we are sure that young fans will be thrilled to experience Peter’s world in this brand new way.”
