NBCUniversal Brand Develop and Illumination Entertainment have partnered with street artist Buff Monster and surfwear company Rusty to create a capsule collection inspired by the Despicable Me and Minions franchises.

Based on the beach lifestyle highlighted in the mobile game, “Minions Parade,” the Minions Lost in Paradise collection will include t-shirts, denim shorts, dresses, board shorts and swimwear, all featuring the popular yellow characters.

“Fans all over the world have embraced the Minions, and the popularity of the ‘Minions Paradise’ EA game leading to the launch of an inspired apparel line is a real testament to the characters’ broad appeal,” says Manuel Torres, executive vice president, NBCUniversal Consumer Products. “Our partners at Illumination continue to inspire us to develop new creative opportunities for the Minions, and we look forward to the fans’ reaction to the limited edition surf collection.”

The limited edition apparel and swimwear collection will be available exclusively from Swell.com in North America and Europe and from SurfStitch.com in Australia on Aug. 15.
