Thomas & Friends: The Great Race

, which will debut for TV, theatrical and DVD release this summer, will include a lineup of 13 new engines from around the world such as Ashima of India, Axel of Belgium, Raul of Brazil, Etinne of France, Frieda of Germany and more.

The special, which has been produced by HIT Entertainment and animated by ARC Studios, has already been sold to PBS in the U.S., DHX in Canada, Super RTL in Germany, Gulli in France, MiniMini in Poland, Minimax in Eastern Europe, Medialaan in Belgium, RTL Telekids in Benelux and many more.

The U.K. has also secured a theatrical release for the film, May 22, with other countries looking to collow such as Australia, Italy and China.
