
Papercutz on board to publish a range of graphic novels featuring the fashion doll.

Papercutz will develop a range of titles based on the Barbie media properties and toy franchise. The new titles will aim to complement the way that children interact with the character and to focus on the diversity Mattel has brought to the brand.
The first three titles will include an eponymous Barbie series and individual novels based on the
Barbie Starlight
and
Barbie Puppy Adventure
movies. The first titles–
Barbie
and
Barbie: Puppy Party
–will launch this September while
Barbie Starlight
will be released in October.
Additional Barbie graphic novels will be released in the first half of 2017, with new installments and series set to launch each season.
