Disney Consumer Products is building out Marvel’s housewares program with a new roster of branded small appliances and additions to its home goods and décor offerings.

Marking the brand's first major launch into the small appliance category, licensee Select Brands is planning a full line of products such as an Avengers waffle maker that lets fans emblazon waffles with Thor’s hammer, Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s helmet and Hulk’s fist. Other offerings will include toasters and single-serve coffee makers. Additionally, Robe Factory will launch a new Iron Man-branded mini-fridge.

Marvel is also doubling down with new innovative drinkware such as heat reactive travel mugs from Vandor featuring Spider-Man, Sip-n-Glo cups from Silver Buffalo, warm and hot beverage bottles from Thermos and ergonomic teen and adult water bottles from Zak Designs.

“We are always looking for new ways to expand our presence in the college and housewares markets to meet the growing demand for innovative new home goods, beyond the traditional linens, that capture the essence of our characters and franchises like never before in this category,” says Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel, DCP. “These new products will offer our fans creative and exciting ways to showcase their fandom through their everyday style both in their homes and at college.”
