Knitwear designer Markus Lupfer has created a collection of his trademark sequin pieces starring Mickey Mouse.

Based on images in the Disney archives and reflecting the DNA of the Lupfer brand, the five-piece women's capsule collection features classic Walt Disney illustrations re-created in colorful sparkle.

"Markus is one of Britain's most influential contemporary designers and his approach to design and irreverent take on fashion has lent a quirky edge to Disney's most iconic character," says Francesca Romana Gianesin, vice president, fashion and lifestyle, The Walt Disney Company, EMEA. The line is now available throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S. at retailers including Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Net-A-Porter.com (U.K. and U.S.), Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Colette, I.T, Lane Crawford and the Markus Lupfer website.
