King Features Renews Deals Worldwide
King Features Syndicate, a unit of Hearst, is expanding its global licensing initiatives and is seeking new IP.

Archie Comics has renewed its representation agreement with King Features, who will continue to oversee all merchandise rights excluding publishing and entertainment in the U.S. and Canada.
King Features will also continue its partnership with Paws Inc. to oversee the Garfield brand. Under the terms of the renewed deal, King Features will work to create more product deals and collaborations across giftware, novelties, apparel, beauty, accessories and more.
King Features has appointed two new international licensing agents to expand its presence in key territories including Black White Orange in India and Caravanserai & Partners in Spain and Portugal.
The company has also renewed deals with agents in 10 territories, such as Asiana in South Korea, AMV Licensias Y Promociones in Peru and Bolivia, Copyright Licensing Agency in the Middle East, CLM (Character Licensing & Marketing) in South Africa, Doce in Chile, Gamma Medya in Turkey, LDI in Israel, Merchantwise in Australia and New Zealand, Segal in Canada and; Tycoon Enterprises in Mexico and Central America.

King features is currently seeking new IP to fete the 90th anniversary of Betty Boop.
