King Features has expanded the licensing program for "Popeye” in India, Korea and Russia.

In India, "Popeye's" regional agent, Black White Orange, has launched three apparel partnerships for the full cast of "Popeye" characters. Deals include licensed clothing launches from Bioworld, Bestseller and Reliance Trends.

For the market in South Korea, King Features' agent Asiana Licensing brokered new "Popeye" deals in the food and beverage category. BR Korea has inked a deal to create new "Popeye"-inspired donut flavors at local Dunkin' Donuts restaurants. GeumSan Gingseng Cooperative is also debuting "Popeye"-branded ginseng drinks and 3D icons this fall.

In Russia, Megalicense grew the "Popeye" brand in the nutrition category with a line of supplements currently available.

"We are excited to bring new and unique product offerings starring 'Popeye' to territories where we know he has a strong fan base but have only had a limited licensing program in before," says Carla Silva, vice president and
