Hugo Games has released its latest app featuring the classic character Hugo the Troll, while Limo Licensing works to grow the brand’s profile with a new publishing partner.
The newest app for the brand, “Hugo Troll Wars,” lets players choose whether they will fight trolls or witches while they build their own fortress.
This is the third app for the classic Nordic brand, which first came to prominence in the ’90s with a TV series that aired in more than 40 countries.
Hugo’s licensing representative, Limo Licensing, has also recently negotiated a new partnership between Hugo Games and the Nordic games company Tactic for a full line of activity publishing products. Tactic is now planning a line of coloring books, activity books, sticker books and puzzles for Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.
“We are pleased about Tactic picking up this great property as they understand the strength of Hugo’s best-selling apps as a platform for a wide range of publishing products,” says Mogens Agger, director, sales, Hugo Games.
