Hello Kitty is hitting the road in her first-ever live North American tour: "Hello Kitty’s Supercute Friendship Festival."

Sanrio, the global lifestyle brand behind the iconic character, and international tour producer VEE Corporation have partnered to create, design and produce the touring event.

Hello Kitty and her friends Dear Daniel, My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, Chococat and Purin will all be in attendance. Among the activations planned at the event are multi-stage live performances, DJ-driven dance sequences, interactive exhibits, animation, art, fashion, photo opportunities, event-exclusive merchandise and more.

“'Hello Kitty’s Supercute Friendship Festival' offers a new Sanrio experience to fans across the country,” says Janet Hsu, president and chief operating officer, Sanrio. “Our first-ever live tour goes beyond a traditional sit-down

show format and brings the world of Sanrio to life with a unique combination of stage performances, interactive exhibits and more surprises for fans of all ages, unlike anything seen before.”

The event will debut at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn., Friday through Sunday before moving onto Denver, Colo., June 5-7); Los Angeles, Calif., June 12-14; San Diego, Calif., June 19-21 and more than 35 additional cities across the U.S. Tickets are on sale now.
