Sanrio and kids’ app company Budge Studios have released the new game app "Hello Kitty Nail Salon," which encourages girls to create nail designs and complete manicure challenges.

Now available worldwide in nine languages, "Hello Kitty Nail Salon" allows users to create custom manicure designs with different nail shapes, polish colors, patterns and toppers including Sanrio characters, stickers and gems. Users can also photograph and share their designs with friends.

“Hello Kitty is a crowd-favorite across the globe, so Sanrio was a natural choice for our next partner,” says Noemie Dupuy, co-chief executive officer and founding partner, Budge Studios. “Our nail salon app gives Hello Kitty fans everywhere a fun and ultra-creative app-tivity for Valentine’s Day and beyond.”

"Hello Kitty Nail Salon" is available for free for iOS devices, with an Android version is coming soon.

“Our partnership with Budge Studios provides an extension of our digital portfolio by offering on-brand content that appeals to fans of all ages,” says Jill Koch, senior vice president, brand management and marketing, Sanrio. “Nail art is a big trend among our fan base. The 'Hello Kitty Nail Salon' app does a great job of translating this trend and incorporating our super cute characters with fun and interactive gameplay."
