Grumpy Cat Ltd., the company behind the delightfully disagreeable Internet meme, have tapped TCG and Ganz to create a line of toys and plush featuring the feisty feline and her brother Pokey.

Under the deal, TCG will create puzzles and novelty plush toys featuring the cats’ likenesses and Ganz will create a full line of gift items and plush.

Products are expected to begin hitting retail shelves this December, with a full launch planned for January 2014.

“Grumpy Cat and Pokey have become social media sensations over the past year and the two are a natural fit for consumer products,” says Michael Albert, president and chief executive officer, TCG. “We’re excited to bring Grumpy Cat and Pokey from the computer screen to fans around the world.”
