HIP Brands, licensing division within The Jim Henson Company, has signed new international licensing agents for its Psyclops property.

New agents include Spain’s Carmen Arize Licensing, who will handle the brand licensing in Europe excluding the U.K., France, Israel and Russia; Alphanim, part of the Gaumont Group, will handle licensing in France; Wild Pumpkin International Licensing will represent the brand in Australia; and Segal Licensing will serve as Psyclops new licensing representative in Canada.

HIP Brands will attend London’s Brand Licensing Europe in October seeking to develop an extensive range of Psyclops branded consumer products in key categories such as toys, designer plush, apparel, home furnishings, stationery, gifts, social expression, personal care, publishing, food and electronics.

“The Psyclops brand is driven by its compelling graphic design and humor,” says Melissa Segal, senior vice president of global consumer products at The Jim Henson Company. “The brand also uses new media platforms and viral marketing to engage with and expand upon its strong consumer base, all of which is very appealing to international brand partners.”
