Sanrio has teamed with hospitality group 1933 Group to bring its lazy egg, Gudetama to L.A.’s oldest bowling alley Highland Park Bowl.

From now through February 2019, Gudetama is taking over the Highland Park Bowl in the form of sculptures, decorated bowling lanes, menu items such as a Gudetama egg-topped pizza and craft cocktails, as well as scores of themed-events. The bowling alley will also offer a range of exclusive merchandise including a yellow Gudetama bowling ball, a vintage-inspired crying towel, Gudetama bowling apparel, a lapel pin and more.

“Sanrio continues to bring unique experiences to our ever-growing fanbase and Highland Park Bowl is a dynamic, sublime space that invites fans to engage with Gudetama like never before–food, cocktails, merchandise and entertainment, all under one roof,” says Dave Marchi, vice president of brand management and marketing, Sanrio.

Food and merchandise are available as packaged deals. Select events include a Halloween celebration, which took place on Oct. 27, a lazy egg and brunch bowling event which will take place in January and a Valentine's Day package on Feb. 14.

Highland Park Bowl is located at 5621 N Figueroa St. in Los Angeles, Calif.
