Paws, Inc. and its regional licensing agents have signed a series of new deals for Garfield in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin and North America and Australia.

In Asia, licensing agent Medialink has partnered with several new licensees including Adlib International Trading for shirts, t-shirts, tote bags, coin bags and umbrellas that will be sold in Adlib stores in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and China; Character Network for boys’ and girls’ apparel in Malaysia; O, Creation for Ginger Kids t-shirts, a Ginger hoodie, socks, umbrellas, carpet, silk scarves, a clock set, handmade jewelry, bags, silver jewelry and figurines in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan; Sky Unicorn for backpacks and school bags in China; New Monday magazine for on-pack premiums in Hong Kong and Macau; and Xiamen Mass Investment Management for apparel sold under the Fun brand in China.

Bulldog Licensing has added two new partners in the U.K. and Eire that include Brand International Group for men’s, women’s and kids’ footwear (excluding socks) and Mint Publishing for greeting cards from Museum Galleries.

Elsewhere in Europe, E Plus M will create apparel and accessories for babies, kids and adults in Poland (brokered by Plus Licens); Boost Collectibles is planning a loyalty promotion with Stickermania in Russia and in the Netherlands with Mountain Stickermania’s Spar stores; KV&H Verlag is developing 2015 print-on-demand calendars in Austria, Germany and Switzerland (brokered by Bulls Licensing); and BIC Licensing in Italy has negotiated a wide-ranging deal with IMAP Export for infant, toddler, kids, junior’s, men’s and women’s apparel in France, Italy, Poland, Romania, Switzerland and Turkey as well as a slew of territories in the Middle East.

In Latin America, P&L global has been named as Garfield’s licensing agent for Chile and Mexico, while three new deals have been signed in Brazil: Vendmaia Comércio de Brinquedos is planning vending machine merchandise including key chains and sticker sheets; Mobiu Servicos de Technologia Movel is creating a 7-inch tablet with customized content; and Rei Do Mate Distribuidora is developing paper and premium cups. All three deals were brokered by Licenciamento de Personagens.

In Canada and the U.S., Innovative Candy Concepts is creating a confectionary range that will feature liquid chocolate, spray candy and Goo4You! among other items; and Buckle Down is planning a range of accessories including belts, buckles, cuffs, purses, suspenders, guitar straps and wallets that will also be sold in Australia.

Finally, Eyevertising has taken a worldwide license to create Garfield novelty sunglasses.
