American Greetings Properties has announced several new deals for Strawberry Shortcake in Paraguay, secured by AG Properties’ South American licensing agent, Exim Licensing.

Strawberry Shortcake is heading to skate and scooter kits from J&M and toy cameras, board games and musical instruments from Globo.

Several existing licensees also extended their contracts including Nikken for musical mobiles, Chenson for backpacks and Azalea for stationery.

“South America is an extremely popular region for Strawberry Shortcake–or as she’s called there, Frutillita–and we’re thrilled to bring fans an even bigger selection of products,” says Carla Silva, vice president of global licensing, AGP. "One thing we know is that no matter where moms live in the world, they enjoy sharing Strawberry Shortcake with their children.”

In addition to Paraguay, partnerships in Chile and Argentina have also been renewed, bringing tea, cooking and food sets from Lionel, and a complete board game line from Ruibal to Argentina and toy cash registers, tents, ride-ons and ice cream makers among other ancillary toy products from Ansaldo in Chile.
