The New York Historical Society has revealed a new exhibition centered on the classic children’s book Eloise, titled “Eloise at the Museum.”

The exhibition, called “Eloise at the Museum,” will also feature a raft of toys from licensee Yottoy.

NORTH AMERICA–The New York Historical Society has revealed a new exhibition centered on the classic children’s book Eloise, titled “Eloise at the Museum.”

The new exhibition, which will take place June 30 – Oct. 9 at the New York Historical Society,

 will highlight the creative collaboration between cabaret star Kay Thompson and illustrator Hilary Knight that brought the character to life. It will also showcase more than 75 objects, ranging from original manuscripts to sketchbooks, portraits, photos and vintage dolls.

Visitors will also be able to step into Eloise’s world through various recreations of the grand lobby of the Plaza Hotel as well as Eloise’s bedroom and bathroom. The exhibit will also include a host of family activities.

Additionally, the New York Historical Society will stock an assortment of Eloise dolls and other toys from licensee Yottoy in its gift shop. Highlights from the toy line include a classic Eloise soft doll, Weenie the dog soft toy, Skipperdee turtle soft toy and an Eloise poseable doll. The range also includes a 12-piece Eloise tin tea set.
