Dennis the Menace Goes on App Adventure

DC Thomson’s comic book The Beano has launched its first fully interactive story app "Dennis & Gnasher Adventures."

Developed in partnership with LivoBooks, "Dennis & Gnasher Adventures" follows the naughty duo as they battle against the zombies of Beanotown.

The app features a four-part story that allows for camera integration, giving players the opportunity to join Dennis and the gang as part of the story. Users can earn points and badges as games are completed, and leaderboards give players the opportunity to track and compare their progress with that of friends.

The new app is part of a digital expansion for the publishing brand that has also seen

The Beano

launch in the "Minecraft" game. Two additional The Beano apps are also planned for later this year.

Part one of the "Dennis & Gnasher Adventures" story is available now for free in the Apple App Sore.
